About me

I'm Senior Lecturer in Building Physics and Services for the Faculty of Environment and Technology (FET) at The University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. Working primarily within the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) I provide expertise and support to students studying architectural acoustics as well as building physics, construction materials, building services and design engineering.

After completing my PhD I've worked as a Senior Scientist for the UK Government, and as physics teacher, before starting my career in Architecture and Construction. I teach many aspects Building Physics and Services but my speciality is Architectural Acoustics and Vibration Control in buildings.    

I'm currently Module Leader for "Environmental Physics & Materials" and "Foundation Engineering for Designers" and teach on a range of other modules.

I'm programme leader for the Construction and Property Foundation Year.
