About me

David originally studied Fine Art and first began Etching as a post-graduate student of the Royal Academy Schools in London. He then worked at the 107 Print Workshop in Wiltshire as a print editioner. He has made printing plates and etchings for artists such as Howard Hodgkin, Gillian Ayres and William Kentridge.

His own practice is based on observational drawings made in the landscape. He has exhibited his work in open submission and group exhibitions at the RWA Bristol, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Bankside gallery in London.
David is the Area Co-ordinator for the Printmaking department and specialises in etching within the physical making area at Bower Ashton.
