About me
At UWE I’m looking after a few of the new open access spaces you can find in Z-Block. These include the Fitting Shop (1Z029), 3D printers in 2Z005, and the Atriums ground floor Makerspace. Alongside this, I’m here to help with the fabricating side of any project you might have going on, or at the very least, point you toward someone who can!
Before starting here I’ve worked as a technician in the Bristol art gallery “Spike Island” (helping fabricate and install artworks), a school (teaching kids to forge metal, and use a laser cutter), as well as various production roles at events and festivals. So, as you might guess, I have plenty of experience building the more unusual things that a human's mind might come up with; usually having fun with that process.
