About me

Dr. Emmanuel Adu-Ameyaw is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance within the Bristol Business School at the University of the West of England. Emmanuel has a PhD in Finance (Liverpool Business School), two master's degrees: MSc in Finance and Investment (Leicester Business School), MSc in Finance (Coventry Business School), and a BA in Political Science and Philosophy (University of Ghana). Emmanuel is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

Emmanuel's teaching and research interests cuts across corporate finance, investment management, international financial management, research methods, managerial compensation and corporate governance. Specifically, he has continuing research interests in corporate risk-taking activities, managerial compensation and corporate governance practices, having published in a number of internationally recognised journals. Emmanuel also serves as a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals.
