About me
I am a Physiotherapist and Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. The focus of my research is faciliation of physical activity for people with long term conditions. I am Director of the Centre for Health and Clinical Research which includes a wide range of research themes from musculoskeletal, neurology and pain to emergency care and cross cutting themes of knowledge mobilisation and children, young people and familities. I am an experienced doctoral supervisor and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for a range of health professional programmes.

Mixed and multiple methods covering feasibility studies, clinical trials and systematic literature reviews.
