About me
Hello! I'm Flora and I am the GIS Technician in the College of Health, Science and Society. Come to me for all things maps, spatial data and environmental data!
I studied geography at Leeds followed by a Masters in GIS. Since then I have been working in GIS with roles in urban design, sustinable transport and most recently at an ecological consultancy. I completed the Advanced Wildlife Conservation in Practice MSc in December 2022 and have been working at UWE since April 2023.
Another specialty and interest of mine is butterflies! I focussed my masters research on butterflies in Bristol and during summer 2023 was living in Romania supporting butterfly research.
