About me

I am an architectural historian and designer whose work examines how architectural knowledge and value are produced across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. My research focuses on how technology and media structure architectural discourse and how they are implicated in questions of inclusion and social justice. Through archival and historiographic work, I investigate the institutional and cultural mechanisms that shape recognition, authorship, and value in architecture. This perspective informs my teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

I am currently working on a book project, The Making of the Digital Avant-Garde, which examines the emergence of the digital avant-garde discourse in architecture in the late 1990s.

I hold a PhD in Architecture from Harvard University, an MA in Architectural History from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and a BSc in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan.
