About me
I am a Senior Lecturer at UWE since January 2019 and currently the Programme Leader for the Degree Apprenticeship Civil Engineering. My job includes teaching, research, and publishing my research. I teach in the civil engineering, geology and geography programmes across all three UG years and in the MSc Civil Engineering.
Before taking up my post here I was a senior lecturer at the University of Namibia (UNAM) where I taught various geology modules for the UG programmes BSc Geology, BSc Biology and BSc Mining Engineering as well as PG programmes MSc Applied Geology and MSc Water Resource Management. During my work for UNAM I supervise a number of MSc and BSc(hnours) projects and the first PhD graduate in Geology at UNAM.
My Ph.D. is in hydrogeology (University Wuerzburg) and I also hold a MSc in Geology from Christian Albrechts University Kiel, Germany and the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Professional Practice from UWE.
