About me
Having worked at the University of the West of England, formally Bristol Polytechnic, since 1989 I have considerable experience in HE Administration and specifically supervised postgraduate research degrees (PGR); PhD, MPhil, DPhil, Professional Doctorates
I have specialised in postgraduate research (PGR) administration for approximately 30 years at UWE, spending 15 years as the PGR Assessment Manager for UWE. I have held PGR admin posts in two faculties before moving to a central role in 1996 and am now the Manager for the service delivery of the Doctoral Academy.
Area of expertise
My area of expertise is postgraduate research degrees administration and assessments (PGR Assessment Manager). I'm also the lead member of the Doctoral Academy for PGR Complaints (Stage 1). I provide expert advice for the University for all aspects of the PGR assessments and its processes.
