About me

I am a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Operations and I conduct independent evaluations for third sector organisations. Outside UWE I am Chair of the trustees for St Werburghs City Farm..

In 2024 I attracted funding for a HEIF knowledge exchange project on evaluating impact in 3rd sector organisations with Robert Tucker and a separate project funded by UWE to establish competency frameworks for clinical staff in IVF clinics with Elizabeth Anderson in CHSS.  I am currently conducting a 4 year impact evaluation for Somerset Education Business Partnership. In 2019-2020 I won a Vice Chancellor's Early Career Researcher Award for a project called 'Evidencing the effectiveness of primary care networks'.

Before joining UWE I worked in public sector procurement, and senior positions in procurement, supply chain and operations in Hewlett Packard and semi-conductor start-ups.
