About me

I am co-Founder and Director of the Institute of Bio-sensing Technology (IBST). IBST champions the leading international conference on Bio-sensing Technology, underwritten by Elsevier, for which I am the Scientific Chair. My research focus is on the development of novel instrumentation for bio-sensing applications and I have collaborated with industry and academic partners on over 20 bio-sensing projects in the last 5 years. I am PI for the £4M South West Microelectronics iNet, co-Director of the £2M Alternative Testing and In-Vitro Monitoring Business Technology Centre and I hold a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellowship.

Area of expertise
