About me

As the Research Environment & Culture Coordinator, I am responsible for the operational delivery of the internal schemes connected with the development of research and innovation for the University. I help implement the overall project plans, ensuring the timely delivery of milestones and contractual deliverables.

More details about the Internal Research Funding Schemes can be found here: Internal research funding (sharepoint.com)

With over 16 years of experience in Bristol’s third sector, I have undertaken a wide range of projects, supporting community and arts groups in their development and fundraising efforts. This work has helped these organisations strengthen their capacity and move toward sustainable futures. In recognition of my contributions, I was awarded the Lord Mayor’s Medal in 2016, which honours individuals dedicated to enhancing the lives of local communities.

Since 2014, I have been a Trustee for The Misfits Theatre Company - https://misfitstheatre.com - a theatre and social group led by and for people with learning disabilities. In this role, and as Chair since 2024, I provide strategic leadership, set policies, establish goals, and oversee performance to ensure the organisation continues to thrive.
