About me
My PhD research explored how storytelling interventions can support team sensemaking of organisational change. I have worked in industry in a range of HR and Learning and Development roles and so my work has a strong applied focus. I am part of a research and practice community called 'The Unleadership Movement' that is interested in creative enquiry exploring how leaderly practices can develop in a myriad of ways to enable human well being and flourishing within organisations and communities. As a result I have been involved in a range of internally and externally funded research projects, e.g. examining ways in which local authorities intervene with and support communities; evaluating local authority practice around the Household Support Fund; exploring how inclusive leadership can be influenced by language and culture; and how academic health practitioners develop wellbeing strategies.
