About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies at the Bristol Business School, University of the West of England. I am involved in the design and delivery of modules like Managing Organisational Change, Leadership, Entrepreneurship at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I joined UWE in Autumn 2022, having previously taught at University of Reading. I hold a PhD in Management Studies from the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. My research interest sits at the nexus of business and society with a specific focus on issues of corporate responsibility and accountability, and the ethics and politics of developing, deploying and governing emerging technologies. My current research addresses the institutional and power dynamics shaping the associated with how emerging digital technologies are being used in organisations and society, with a special focus on the ethical and political responsibilities for mitigating the harmful impacts of new technologies the attribution and assumption of responsibility for the harms associated with AI and social media platforms.
I welcome proposals from prospective PhD candidates who are interested in undertaking research on topics within the fields of business and society and critical management studies, using qualitative methods.
