About me
Student Enterprise Manager (REE). I believe that through empathetic and intuitive coaching & mentoring we can help students to overcome barriers, increase in confidence and realise their potential.
I've been at UWE since 2016, UWE Alumni (Business Team Entrepreneurship), and worked in multiple roles within the Careers and Enterprise service. I also passed my Institute of Leadership and Management Executive Coaching & Mentoring Level 7 programme at UWE in early 2023.
Experience and Projects:
- Stakeholder relationship management; sourcing College student consultancy projects, liaising with service sponsors, and connecting employers with student & graduate talent.
- Founding and running a student start-up company; winner of UWE funding competitions, former Launch Space resident, and mentor of the next generation of UWE student entrepreneurs.
- Event organisation and facilitation; Large scale Careers & Enterprise events, such as Professional Practice Week. Enterprise Festival, Start-up Drinks, and delivering curricular/co/extracurricular Enterprise & Entrepreneurship sessions.
- Project management and strategy; designing a Student Ventures coaching & mentoring framework which aligns with the University 2030 Strategy and Target Operating Model (TOM), to ensure all student entrepreneurs have access to coaching & mentoring experiences that are inspiring and connected.
- Teaching; Associate Lecturer on Enterprise & Entrepreneurship module, support business students in achieving academic success.
Interests & Hobbies:
