About me

I am a LSE and SOAS trained political economist specialising in development economics (Sub-Saharan Africa). I teach a postgraduate module on emerging economies with a focus on policy and industry studies and core modules on international trade and introductory economics.

I worked on the National Minimum Wage Research Initiative (South Africa) which campaigned for a national minimum wage. This was successful as a minimum wage was introduced in 2017.
