About me
I was a research laboratory technician at The University of Sheffield for 10 years. Our research group was investigating lipoprotein metabolism and developing clinical tests for predicting the risk and scale of atherosclerosis. From here I moved into a management role and then moved to UWE, to continue in a technical manager role. First starting at Glenside managing the healthcare technical teams. In 2015 I moved to Frenchay campus to manage the science and psychology teams and the specialist facilities and resource associated with these subject areas.
Area of expertise
The skills and experience I have gained over the years is mostly in the area of management and leadership of technical resources. This is reflected in the projects, working groups and teams I have been involved in.
