About me
I am a Research Associate at the School of Architecture and Environment at the University of the West of England. I am a multidisciplinary researcher with international experience gained in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the USA. My work explores synergies between different disciplines, including real estate, planning, environmental science, and organisational behaviour. I have both quantitative and qualitative skills. My research interests focus on a transdisciplinary understanding of the mechanisms underpinning the development of more sustainable cities and vibrant communities.
I have experience engaging with professional stakeholders from government and business, including the global real estate sector, to address contemporary challenges of the built environment. I have collaborated with the International WELL Building Institute, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Columbia University in the City of New York, and the University of Copenhagen, to name a few.
I worked on projects funded by the UK Research and Innovation and the European Union. My research was presented during conferences organised by, for example, the British Academy, the University of Cambridge, and the American Real Estate Society. My research was awarded by the Economic and Social Research Council via the University of Oxford, the James R. Webb Foundation Doctoral Program, and the Kosciuszko Foundation.
I hold a PhD in Real Estate and Planning and a PhD in Environmental Planning.
Currently, I contribute to a project funded by the UK Research and Innovation, which aims to improve our understanding of the economics of biodiversity in new developments:
