About me

I am a Lecturer in Organisation Studies at UWE Bristol, where I teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Since joining the University in November 2018, I have taught a range of modules with a particular focus on leadership and organisation studies

I am the Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Business Management and Leadership programme, the Level 3 Programme Tutor for BA (Hons) Business and Management, and the Module Leader for the undergraduate module Advances in Leadership.

Alongside my teaching, I am undertaking a PhD entitled "Parasocial Best Friend or a Stranger Through a Screen? A Study on Parasocial Followership of Vloggers on YouTube." My research explores leadership in the context of social media, examining how audiences develop parasocial relationships with online content creators through the lenses of followership and psychosocial theories.

During Terms 1 and 2, my office hours are Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in room 5X215. If these times are not convenient, I am also happy to arrange online meetings - please contact me by email to book an alternative appointment.
