About me
A Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of West England, researching the intersection of programming language design and human computer interaction (HCI). My future work looks to explore ideas around end-user design, empowering users to modify and extend technology, particularly inspired by hacker/maker culture.
I'm currently a module leader on the Digital Systems Project, Principles of Programming and Computational Thinking and Practice modules and also teach on Advanced Systems Programming and Secure Embedded Systems.
I am part of the Computer Science Research Centre as well as an associate member of the Creative Technologies Lab and was recently appointed the School Chair on the Ethics Committee.
