About me

I currently work as a Lecturer in Strategy and Operations management. I hold a BSc in economics from the Wuhan University of Technology, an MSc and a PhD in Management at the University of Glasgow.

Prior to joining UWE, I worked as a Post-doc researcher at the University of Glasgow, focusing on business model and ecosystem analysis for Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs). Then, a lecture in operations and supply chain management at the University of Greenwich.

I am actively engaged in teaching and research activities in broad areas of (responsible) innovation management, managing strategies, strategic decision making and digital transformation. I welcome proposals from prospective PhD students in relevant areas

Area of expertise

My research broadly focuses on new product development, responsible innovation from business perspectives, ambidextrous organisations, digitalisation, and supply chain finance. I engage in conceptual and empirical research work with expertise in protocol-driven literature reviews.

I am also interested in exploring theories and assumptions in organisations and management studies. My current theoretical interest lies in responsible innovation and grande social challenges, agency theory in supply chain finance, and absorptive capacity in social care settings.
