About me
Rachel is a Senior Lecturer on the Physiotherapy programme within the Department of Health and Applied Sciences (HAS). Rachel is module leader for a level 2 module, Health and Wellbeing across the Lifespan and a level 3 module, Long Term Conditions: Effective Collaborative Working. She is currently the project manager for the FRONTIER study which is evaluating the effectiveness and costs associated with First Contact Physiotherapy for Musculoskeletal Disorders in Primary Care.
Area of expertise
Rachel obtained her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at the University of Manchester. She worked clinically for 5 years before moving to the University of the West of England as a lecturer. She has since gained experience in research associate and research fellow roles and has expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
