About me
I am the Associate Director for Human-Centric Robotics at UWE Bristol, providing strategic leadership for interdisciplinary education, research, and innovation at the intersection of robotics, healthcare, engineering management, and organisational transformation. I work across academic, industry, and public-sector partnerships to advance human-centred approaches to technology adoption and workforce development. With extensive international experience spanning higher education, healthcare, public health, consultancy, and organisational leadership, I have built a distinctive career connecting technological innovation with people, systems, and societal impact.
Area of expertise
I have multidisciplinary expertise spanning academia, management consulting, research, leadership, and project management. My work focuses on the intersection of people, organisations, and emerging technologies, with particular interests in organisational development and change, organisational behaviour, digital transformation, engineering management, and healthcare innovation. My research and professional practice draw on the socio-economic approach to management, management control, project and programme management, and technology adoption, with applications across higher education, healthcare, nonprofit organisations, and community development. I am particularly interested in understanding how organisations can successfully navigate change, enhance performance, and create sustainable value through innovation, collaboration, and effective leadership.
