About me

I completed my BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology at the University of the West of England and then went on to complete an MSc in Neuroimaging: Methods and Applications, at Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre. After completion, I held several research assistant roles at UWE with projects focused on exposure to environments, virtual reality, mental well-being, and cognitive performance. Alongside research, I am also involved with teaching and supervision as an Associate Lecturer.

I am currently undertaking my PhD at UWE which is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council through the South West Doctoral Training Partnership. Through this studentship (1+3) I completed an MRes in Health and Wellbeing at the University of Bath. My PhD research focuses on exploring the impact of individual differences on the mental well-being benefits gained from exposure to urban greenspaces. Within this topic, I am also interested in the multi-sensory properties of spaces and the use of virtual reality as a research tool. My research has been presented at international conferences and published in academic peer-reviewed journals.
