About me
Rida is a Technical Instructor - Cyber Programming in the Faculty of Environment and Technology (FET) at the University of the West of England (UWE, Bristol). During lab sessions, she provides technical support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, and Computer Science programs. Besides that, she runs Espresso Cyber Session to provide one-to-one assistance to students.
She holds an M.Sc. in Cyber Security (Distinction) achieved at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, and a B.Sc. (Gold Medalist) in Telecommunication and Networking from COMSATS University, Pakistan.
Rida has worked previously for the University of Westminster as a Cyber Security Analyst with the collaboration of a London-based company Mezzo Labs. She has research experience on modern DLTs as a Junior Research Scientist at the IOTA Foundation, Berlin, Germany.
She holds professional memberships of the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), and also she is an associate member of BSC.
