About me
Rob Eagle is an arts researcher-practitioner working across performance, film and interactive and immersive media. Rob is an Associate Lecturer on the MA Virtual and Extended Realities programme at UWE. In 2022, they completed a PhD in the DCRC on employing augmented reality for interactive documentary storytelling – thesis available here. Their main practice output from the PhD was an installation, Through the Wardrobe, which toured internationally 2019-22. Rob is also currently a Research Fellow at the BFI (British Film Institute) and Associate Researcher in XR Stories at the University of York, where they are investigating the potential of various mobile phone apps for the future of entertainment and storytelling.
