I am Associate Director – Accounting and Finance, Senior Lecturer in Risk Management and Insurance at the University of the West of England. I am appointed as 'Subject Matter Specialist' for the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), England's Qualifications Regulator for qualifications, examinations and assessments to consult and review the materials related to the Insurance Professional standard. In addition, I am an External Examiner for Master Programmes in Insurance and Risk Management and I have a substantial experience in examining PhD and DBA.
I have been an educator in HEIs for more than 18 years and hold the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education qualification and I am Fellow of HEA.
