Area of expertise
I have experience in business management, marketing, and events management, acquired through diverse roles within SMEs in the construction and legal industries, as well as within the third sector and the public sector. My career journey includes a professional services role at UWE Bristol which led to a year-long lecturing secondment in 2015 and, subsequently, a permanent transition into academia. In my spare time, I help to run a Community Interest Community organising the biggest volunteer-led community festival in South Gloucestershire. My subject specialisms include marketing communications, public relations, events management, experiential marketing, and sponsorship. I am passionate about using my real-world experiences to enhance my students’ learning.
