A HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer since 2004, I have had the opportunity to work in the NHS and more recently in Higher Education. In 2006 I specialised in Nuclear Medicine and completed a part-time Masters in Nuclear Medicine in 2012.  I am currently undertaking a part-time Doctorate as part of the Faculty 'Doctoral Capacity Building' programme.

Alongside various teaching and facilitation responsibilities on the undergraduate Diagnostic Imaging (Radiography) programme, I am currently responsible for the management and provision of an MSc programme in Nuclear Medicine which is delivered as a distance learning package.

Recent work has concentrated on the development and delivery of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and post graduate education, utilising a variety of teaching models and innovative Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) solutions.

Recent achievements include the status of Fellow of The Higher Education Academy in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education and becoming a member of the SCoR Nuclear Medicine Advisory Group (NMAG) which supports and provides guidance for the UK Nuclear Medicine workforce.
