About me
I am a Senior lecturer at UWE, currently module leader on Integrated Marketing Communications (UG), Principles of Marketing Communications (PG FT), Principles of Marketing Communications (PG PT), Applied Marketing Communications (UG), and Behaviour, Strategy & Content Production (PG). Additionally I am a tutor on Applied Marketing Principles (UG), Placement Module (UG), Global Marketing Management (UG), Applied Business Project (UG), and Dissertation (PG). I am a former creative director in the advertising industry, having spent 24 years working at the highest levels for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather. My interests are in the use and application of narrative principles in commercial communication. I am a published award-nominated novelist.
Area of expertise
I am highly experienced in all aspects of global marketing communications campaigns, having worked with many of the world's best known brands such as McDonalds, Toyota, HP, Reebok, Singapore Airlines and many more. I was responsible for global brand communications for Singapore Airlines and the Singapore Tourist board amongst others.
