I am a dedicated and passionate accounting and finance lecturer with over 11 years of teaching experience. My commitment is to foster a comprehensive understanding of these subjects among my students. I have had the privilege of guiding and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in this dynamic field. I aim to create an engaging and interactive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, active participation, and a genuine enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
My teaching experience spans esteemed institutions both nationally and internationally, providing me with valuable insights into global best practices in accounting and finance education. This exposure has allowed me to incorporate diverse perspectives into my teaching methods, preparing students for the interconnected and multicultural business landscape of today.
In addition to teaching, I am actively involved in research, focusing on interconnectedness in stock markets. Currently, I serve as a Link Tutor for Villa College in the Maldives and BIBM in Colombo at UWE.
The modules I currently teach include "Understanding Business and Financial Information," "Accounting Information for Business," and "Financial Aspects for Marketing." I am excited to continue making a positive impact on my students' lives, nurturing their intellectual growth and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving world of accounting and finance.Area of expertise
