With over 16 years of experience in accounting and finance education, I bring a deep commitment to helping students genuinely connect with the principles that underpin the world of business and finance.

Teaching across respected institutions both in the UK and internationally has broadened my perspective considerably, allowing me to blend rigorous academic content with real-world relevance and prepare students for an increasingly interconnected business landscape. My approach centres on building an interactive classroom culture where critical thinking is the norm, curiosity is rewarded, and every student feels equipped to engage confidently with complex material.

My teaching portfolio includes modules in management accounting, and I serve as Link Tutor for Villa College in the Maldives and BIBM in Colombo at UWE, roles that keep me closely connected to the realities of transnational education.

Beyond the classroom, my research focuses on stock market interconnectedness , an area that feeds directly back into my teaching, ensuring students benefit from current academic thinking alongside established theory. After more than a decade and a half in this field, watching students grow in confidence and go on to build meaningful careers remains the most rewarding part of what I do.
