About me
I have now gone full circle - UWE (1996 - 2018) - UWE Students' Union (2019 t0 2024) and now back to UWE!
After many years of fulltime working, I am lucky to now be back at Glenside Campus working just 2.5 days a week as a Stroke Education Administrator.
I am predominantly a 'people person'. I was a Champion for the Time to Change Mental Health Campaign. I am passionate about raising awareness and reducing stigma attached to mental health and regularly volunteered to speak out and volunteer at various Time to Change events.
I was fortunate to work on a pilot with UWE SJD staff to look at supporting mental health in the workplace from January to August 2018 when I left UWE employment after 22 years before returning to the Students' Union 13/05/19 as a Student Adviser for them :)
I am now relishing my free time to practice my piano skills and do many other things I can now do without work getting in the way!!! :)
