About me

In 2023, after completing the Bar Practice Course, Tom joined UWE as an Associate Lecturer in Law.

Tom is a Future Pupil Barrister at St. John's Chambers in Bristol where he will complete a specialist pupillage in family law. He is passionate about helping future lawyers through mooting competitions and mentoring.

Previously, Tom worked as a Crown Court Clerk across Devon and Cornwall. Here, he assisted judges during crown court trials for serious allegations, such as murder, rape, robbery and GBH. Before his work in the criminal courts, he worked for a local authority's child care legal team.

Currently, as well as teaching at UWE, Tom is completing the LLM component of his Bar Course.
