About me
Tonia Carless is an academic researching spatial politics and everyday life, the production of public space.
She researches through design, drawing and visual practice. She completed a practice based PhD, through written, drawn and spatial thesis on architectural drawing and its relationship with the changing conditions of urban space. She also has publications on architectural drawing, public space and visual research methods.
Area of expertise
Wholesale building and structural moving, mapping impact, practices and process (Manual of Moving) and documenting in collaboration with a structural mover, Nya Töre Husflyytningar in the North of Sweden, for wider, global, circular applications.
