About me
Verity works as the Digital Content Manager at the Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR). Her role includes branding and promotion of the centre using specialist knowledge of digital content and design.
Verity is also undertaking a PhD looking at the potentials afforded to artists and designers by new robotic technologies.
Her research brings together ideas from Computational Creativity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Cybernetics, Theoretical Philosophy, Cognitive Science and Neuroscience. Her study investigates creativity in machines through the development of painting and drawing robots.
Her supervisory team includes Carinna Parraman (CFPR), and Paul O'Dowd (University of Bristol) Director of MSc Robotics.
