About me

As Pro Vice-Chancellor International at UWE Bristol, I lead the University’s global strategy, expanding our international influence, partnerships and presence across education, research and innovation. As a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive, I work to strengthen UWE’s position as an outward looking, globally connected institution, ensuring our international agenda delivers transformative impact for students, staff, partners and the communities we serve.

With extensive experience in senior academic leadership, I specialise in building high-impact international collaborations, shaping transnational education portfolios, and enhancing global student experience. My leadership is values-driven, strategic and partnership-focused, with a strong commitment to sustainability, inclusion and academic excellence.

I am passionate about developing global opportunities, fostering international research collaborations, and enabling students to thrive as global citizens in a rapidly evolving 

My research and practitioner interests are located in project studies, with a particular interest in complex organisational change with a focus on socio-political dynamics.  Title of DBA thesis: On the politics of change in academia: Projects as negotiated and contested spaces (2021)

I am proud to be the Chair of  Trustees for Cabot Learning Federation

My research and practice are in the socio-political complexities of change within academia, through critical management inquiry.
