Area of expertise

Nutrition in health and disease

I use longitudinal and big datasets including UK Biobank, National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), Global Burden of Disease (GBD) and CHNS to investigate the relationship between diet and health status/NCD in different population groups including older adults.

Supporting diverse learners in higher education

I use mixed-methods design to answer how we can move beyond a 'one-size-fits-all' approach in higher education including responsible use of AI, curriculum internationalisation, critical thinking, entrepreneruship and transnational education.
