About me
I work as an Impact Development Manager in the Impact and Commercialisation Team, which is part of Research and External Engagement (REE).
My main role involves working with academics across all three Colleges, maximising opportunities to translate research into real world impact. That is impact that goes beyond academia and has an effect on policy, society, culture or the economy. I'm always looking for any opportunity to capture, evidence and promote the value of UWE research to external audiences.
I specialise in exploring the number of ways academics can engage with policymakers, picking out the best routes to influence and direct policy.
