About me

I support the academic collaboration with Taylor's University in Malaysia. In my role as Academic Link Tutor I manage the student experience for the Dual Award programme between the two institutions for Computing programmes.

My research interests focus in the following two areas. A. the use of AI in supporting Health Care and  B. the Integration of AI and Blockchain Technologies in creating and managing Secure, Intelligent and Sustainable Supply Chains; 

Other Research Areas where I have published extensively include, Electronic Government Business Process Modeling; Smart E-Government Systems; Cross Border e-Government Services and their engagement with social media.  Web Services Security; Mobile Recommender Systems;

I had started my career as a projects engineer in the Steel industry and have worked in heavy manufacturing in the UK and my native Greece.

I have supervised a number of PhD students successfully and all of them are enjoying successful academic or high-level professional careers.
