About me
I am a senior lecturer in Marketing within the Bristol Business School at UWE Bristol, I am playing an active role in designing Marketing related modules that I am teaching and leading. Before joining the Business School in 2020, I have been teaching Marketing in Higher education since 2006 in France and England. I currently teach Contemporary Marketing, Customer behaviour and Services Marketing at the postgraduate level. I am leading Marketing Dissertation/research project Modules, based on the academic research process and designed for postgraduate level students. I am also involved in Master's degree supervision and PhD supervision.
I was awarded a PhD in 2011 from Jean Moulin University of Lyon 3 in France. My PhD dissertation explored the impact of the internal Marketing strategies on the Service frontline employees' satisfaction and the perceived service quality. My research focuses on services' marketing, relationship marketing, internal marketing, customer focus, job satisfaction, Managing service employees... areas on which she still works with professionals to improve the theoretical validation.
I have always worked on the relationship building of Service organization- frontline staff- customer / patient. Very concerned by the quality of service delivered by the service institution and perceived by individuals. In 2021, through the Covid-19 pandemic, I was successful getting the VC ECR award and started a research project with the collaboration of the NHS, investigating how the satisfaction and wellbeing of frontline staff play a key role in enhancing the service quality through effective and safe care. I am convinced that combining two areas of research ( marketing and Health ) and knowledge will enrich the actual one.
